Breezestar leapt onto The Gorge Stone, her eyes shining with happyness.
"Many cats have join us!" she calls.
"First of all, Sparrowfeather, do you promise to uphold warrior code as a medicene cat?"
"I do." she answers calmly.
"Congratulations, you are now the medicene cat of Gorgeclan. You will mentor Pebblepaw.
Next, Darkember, do you promise to uphold warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do." The dark tabby answered confidently.
"You are now Head Warrior of Gorgeclan."
"Rowanstep, Skyleaf, Wanderingpath, Goldendream, Hawkfoot, Fireclaw, Stormsky, Frostbite, Jackalhowl, and Deathdream, do you promise to be loyal to Gorgeclan?"
They answer spontainiously, "I do."
"You are now warriors of Gorgeclan."
"Next, Willowpaw, Rainpaw, Morningpaw, Ivypaw, Berylpaw, Breezepaw, Winterpaw, and Brightpaw, do you bromise to be loyal to Gorgeclan, and train to become warriors?"
"I do." they all answer.
"You are now apprentinces of Gorgeclan. Rowanstep, you will mentor Calmpaw. Jackalhowl, you will mentor Stormpaw. Willowpaw's mentor will be Tundrastep. Rainpaw's mentor will be Darkember. Morningpaw's mentor will be Wanderingpath. Stormsky will mentor Ivypaw. Goldensoul will mentor Berylpaw. Breezepaw's mentor will be Fireclaw. Brightpaw's mentor will be Skyleaf. I will mentor Winterpaw."
"Lastly, Dawncloud, Mudkit, Brightkit, and Rosekit, please step forward. Do you promise to be and stay loyal to Gorgeclan?"
"We do." answered Dawncloud.
"From now on, you will be cats of Gorgeclan. You will stay in the nursury until you are ready to move on to apprenticeship and warriorship." Breezestar leaped down from The Gorge Stone, signafying the end of the meeting.
fireclaw's eyes shine as he pads forward to meet breeepaw ready to start training?"he asked breezepaw.whithout for an anserw he began to speak again."i want to start by showing you some hunting tactics,first.what do you know so far?"he asked.

ivvypaw pads over to stormsky."can we start training right now?"she asked eager to prouve herself a good apprentice.
dawncloud looks warmly at her kits."come on you three lets get all of you in the nursery."she mews as brightkit yawns.pads to nursery fallowed by her three kits.
Breezestar smiles as she watches her clanmates.

Goldendream looks around for Berylpaw.
Calmpaw pads up to Rowanstep. "Can we start?" she asks.
Brightpaw sits and grooms.
*Frostbite sighed in anger, ambition and walked off not wanting to talk to her clanmates.*

*Winterpaw looked up, she heard it was an honor to be the leader's apprentice. But she didn't feel happiness, she felt guilt of being near Frostbite.*
Goldendream smiles slightly at Jackalhowl.

Willowpaw purred, quivering. "Yes!" she answered Tundrastep. "Can we learn how to hunt first?"

Sparrowfeather purred and turned to Pebblepaw. "Do you know your herbs?" she asked. I'm a medicine cat with an apprentice already, she thought. Wow. "Why don't we go to my den?" she said.

Rainpaw watched his sisters talk with their mentors and apprentices. He looked around, his gaze resting on Brightpaw. She was very pretty. He shook his head and turned around, watching his skinny, silly sister Willowpaw. She was bouncing around and probably annoying the fur off Tundrastep. Rainpaw purred. There was nothing more he wanted than to keep his sister safe.

Tundrastep smiled. "Sure. Would you like to go to the Oak Forest?"

Brightpaw looked around, not knowing anyone escept for Goldendream, who seemed busy. He looked at Rainpaw, and gave him a slight nodd.
(Do we have two Brightpaws? It says on Brightpaw's description that she is a she-cat! :)
ReplyDeleteWillowpaw purred. "Yes, of course! I'll race you!" Willowpaw took off, fast as a jackrabbit, with Tundrastep gaining on her every step.

Sparrowfeather nodded. "Well, nobody's sick, so we can go gather some herbs now, if you want. The best place to go would be the hunting grounds." She padded away in that direction.

Rainpaw blinked and turned to Darkember. "Are we going to learn to fight?" he thought, wanting to keep the Clan and his sister safe.

ReplyDeleteWillowpaw padded into the clearing and purred. There were so many new things to see! She padded over to Jackalhowl, liking his friendly, open face. "Hey, can you come exploring the territory with me?" she asked. "I heard that there were badgers about and was advised to take someone with me. Will you come?" she begged, knowing that he would be a nice companion.
